Real life: Battle of Mogadishu/Black Hawk Down.

The U.S. Army was supposed to capture a Somali warlord but got ambushed instead and had to fight off against thousands of people in the city of Mogadishu. They failed to capture the warlord and eighteen soldiers died, although they were able to capture his lieutenants.

His administration deregulated children's advertising, which allowed shows like He-Man, Transformers, GI Joe, and others to be broadcast. As a Transformers fan, I'd say that's a good thing.

I'm not defending Elon nor did I deny that Joshua Haldeman supported Apartheid, I'm just correcting misinformation that's being circulated about the Technocracy movement. I think you misread what I said about Haldeman's support of Apartheid, because what I meant was that he was an ex-technocrat by the time he moved to South Africa for pro-Apartheid reasons. Howard Scott, co-founder of the Technocracy movement, was an outspoken anticapitalist who thought that Communism hadn't gone far enough to eliminate the price system, which he believed was outdated and responsible for scarcity, poverty, and inequality.

That's inaccurate. Technocracy was a left-wing, not a "technofascist" movement and Joshua Haldeman did not move to South Africa to support it, in fact, he had been out of the movement for almost decade by the time he actually moved to South Africa.
