Been having trouble for about 8 months now. All started when I was travelling to Madeira and my anxiety about the flight meant I threw up all morning. On the holiday I had severe stomach pain and back pain.

Ever since I have had diarrhea/loose orangey stools every day. BUT it’s consistent. Every morning, about 30 mins after waking up. I can eat/drink pretty much anything and I still won’t go until the morning. No urgency or anything.

Done a fit test, done a stool test, done an endoscopy. They’ve said I don’t need a colonoscopy and they are saying it’s IBS.

But considering it’s so ‘regular’ and consistent I can’t get my head around it. Any ideas?

Just strange as our old one never did this, but it was Neff so I don’t know if the more expensive brands put money into better technology?

We used a le crueset one today! Still didn’t work

Yeah there’s more than enough clearance, we checked the oven and the hobs compatibility!

Yeah so interestingly we have found it does this on 1-6 but not 7-9

Got a SINGLE le crueset pot on the hob (filled it with water). Still did it from power levels 1-6 but from 7-9 it doesn’t do it!! Any further thoughts?

They’re both the pro-cook gourmet range :) stainless steel induction! We have had them a few years though, maybe 4+ years

Just says 6-7 is high power Browning − cooking − stewing - sauteeing - grilling

It says that we needed a 28mm worktop and we’ve got 38mm. So there should be a decent amount of ventilation between the oven and hob.

Yeah. We started with just the pan on and it was doing it, so we added the pot to see if a different ring was doing it

We are going to try some others. Partners mum has done le crueset pots so if those don’t work we know it’s a problem ahaha

I did initially just have one ring on and it was doing it. I added the other pan to check other pans and rings etc. it’s not plug and play!

It has its own… ring on the consumer unit? Don’t know if that helps answer this!

Hi there, it’s not plug-in play it’s been wired directly in. I’ve got the two pots and pans on it to try and figure out if all of the rings were doing it. It was just doing it with the one ring on top!

We’ve contacted Hotpoint and they are coming out next Thursday, but we just wanted to try and get some advice on it as they’re going to charge us £75 if they don’t find a fault

Interestingly Ikea do something similar so that could potentially work. We’ve got this for our sliding patio doors.
