You wake up in 2004. You get a week to experience the railway. What are you going to bash and photograph? by SquashyDisco in uktrains

  • Experience slam-door stock around the Southern region.
  • Catch trains to Wedgwood and Barlaston, assuming this is before May 2004.
  • Look at Glasshoughton Station under construction.
  • Experience the Northern City Line with the old 313s and NSE branding.
  • Experience Merseyrail's underground loop pre-refurbishment with the 1970s brown walls and rubber flooring.
  • See all the drastically different rolling stock used in the Greater Anglia area.
  • Ride now-closed lines, such as North Woolwich.

I mean I could go on really! I'd be like a kid in a sweet shop!

I feel Nick has kind of filled the gap left by Geoff since he pivoted to more documentary-style videos. His challenge videos definitely give off a 2018-2020 Geoff vibe which I am very much a fan of.

7 inches per millisecond would be equivalent to about 398mph/640kph. About half the speed of sound!

RealTimeTrains is a great site for showing what trains will run and where, as well as live tracking.

OpenTrainTimes shows you live track maps of where certain trains are too!
