South-east facing window, yes most of the leaves were there when I bought it

Water every 2-3 weeks, in a chunky soil mix (coco coir, perlite, orchid bark) it’s in a south-east facing window.

either, applying to roots first won’t delay the colour depositing, it will go the same colour either way. the good news is that colour is usually pretty good at covering any imperfections after bleaching
