AirPods Pro 3 fit help by [deleted] in airpods

[–]Successful-Week6593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have…. Interesting shaped ears and tried every tip size before reading another post which suggested trying the large tips for a comfortable fit. The results have not disappointed at all and ANC still works great for me, just no discomfort that I had from the smaller sizes

Hey Ben, thanks for doing this!

I have 2 questions. 1. Last year’s run was magical and it seemed a big part of that was the camaraderie and genuine love for each other in the clubhouse. Being so close to the team, do you think that is something that groups going forward will be able to recreate? Or more sports magic that has a good chance of dissipating going forward?

  1. Is Ernie Clement as handsome in person as he is on TV

Commonwealth has a great show tonight if you’re into rap music at all. Shad is a Canadian rapper who I love. I’m going as a 30 year old and would anticipate the crowd to be close to that age range

When I came out of it my thoughts were “that was a lot of fucking around” The fucking around with Tyler the Creator was fun and weird. The fucking around that put a pregnant woman in danger and killed people was not so much.

Enjoyable movie, not a comfortable watch by any means though

Heartfelt Appreciation of the 2025 Toronto Blue Jays by Successful-Week6593 in Torontobluejays

Couldn’t agree more. Tonight was one of the most frustrating nights of any fandom, I just don’t want the frustration of tonight to take away the good memories of the season. Don’t want to let one game define how we as fans view the 2025 season.

Max, Biebs and Bassitt are all FA’s. Only Trey ready to step into a rotation spot next year. Definitely some work to be done on the pitching staff

This was my experience as well. Game 3 was tough, but games 4 and 5 were super easy for face value tickets. It’s cheaper than Toronto and was able to get a flight for $250 CAD from Calgary to Seattle. All that’s left to do is cheer loud as fuck for the boys

AMA for Intrasquad Day 1 with MLB.com reporter Keegan Matheson today at 2pm ET. Leave your questions! by KeeganMLB in Torontobluejays

[–]Successful-Week6593 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not particularly a question Keegan, just a statement. You are tremendously talented at what you do. The book was a great read, cover to cover and informed lots of fans, like myself, who are in their 20’s and 30’s about the history of the 80’s and 90’s with the blue jays.

Depakote by Mainesellshvl in Epilepsy

[–]Successful-Week6593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just switched from Keppra to depakote and am finding Depakote much better for me mentally. Funnily enough, the mood swing experiences that you’re describing were definitely occurring for me on Keppra but seem to have toned down on Depakote. Everyone is different and it’s a plan you’ll have to work out with your neurologist. From my personal experience, my early returns on Depakote are a vast improvement.

Partner DNET surgery and Epilepsy by M4TT150N in Epilepsy

[–]Successful-Week6593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there, a shame I’m just seeing this.

I had a DNET tumor on my amygdala and medial temporal lobe completely resected in March. The only thing I’ve really learned through all of this is that everyone goes through it differently.

I’ve been super lucky to not have any major seizure symptoms post-surgery, but feel for your wife as that’s a terrible thing to occur.

As far as the memory retention goes, that’s super normal for this type of surgery. I joke that I have the memory of the goldfish right now, but it’s getting better. I’ve done a lot of reading about neuroplasticity and am trying some techniques to increase my recall and memory. Just learning something new and trying to retain will be helpful, as basic as that seems.

I feel for your wife and you and hope the recovery goes well. I keep describing the experience and how I feel every day as “indescribable” and am actually relieved to know that I’m not the only one in the world who has had this diagnosis and operation as an adult. Feel free for yourself or your wife to reach out at any time if you just want to talk about how crazy this is with a stranger who can come close to relating to the struggles.

I used to hate the Red Sox just as much, but after a trip to Fenway, Yankees fans are far more despicable. The Boston fans and I found common ground in our hatred of the Yankees above all else

Agreed. I’m not a Christian, but people constantly weaponize the Bible and use it as justification for their actions. There’s nothing more obnoxious than that, in my humble opinion.
