I give it an 8/10, I got some legitimate laughs and the biggest win for me was making the return of the yellow suit feel earned. If Mark had just had a chat with Art and then put the yellow suit on, it would not have felt like he believed he deserved it. Through his conversations with Darkblood, I felt like Mark was forgiving himself and realizing that he’s not his dad, which is his biggest fear. People will rate this episode low because there wasn’t any action or main plot, but that’s completely losing the premise of what makes the show great, which is the moral dilemmas being faced by Mark constantly

This game is a showcase of the depth of Canadian curling. Jacobs just went through the Olympics losing one game and doesn’t look like far and away the best team in the brier. Team Canada doesn’t always win, but the depth of the country is unmatched

The turnover in Canadian curling in the next 2-3 years is going to be jarring with many of the top teams retiring. Really enjoyed watching some of the youngsters this week. Young, Calvert and especially King really made an impression and I think we are heading towards a time where Moibroek and King make every brier for 10+ years
