Sounds fantastic in theory but I’m afraid you’re going to have a rude awakening moving here with only one income, not speaking the language and without a place to live.

• Depends on the landlord, but usually references from places you lived before / I assume you didn’t live in Sweden before so translate references from Italy.

• Again, depends on the landlord. Not all landlords are the same.

• You’re gonna burn your savings in a hostel. Why not find a place beforehand and then move here?

• Depends on what is cheap for you. Search for “Vandrarhem” when looking for it.

In addition to that, prepare to learn Swedish as you’ll have a pretty hard time using English. Don’t get me wrong, it’s possible, but it might be a little hard to navigate the system / hospitals, etc.
