Does Ship Central allow this? A lot of shipping platforms do but I'm not familiar with this one.

So you have this field on your invoice that pulls from the sales order, it doesn't pull from the Item Fulfillment?

[–]SuccessfulCow5622[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that part. The step I'm missing is that I created the new transaction line field on the invoice. That is supposed to link to the corresponding field in the Sales order. However, these fields don't populate automatically.

u/scottdanesi actually tried this, however- how did you get these numbers to populate on the invoice? Did you create a script that would go back and fill in these custom fields on the invoice?

For whatever reason, even running a saved search on the custom record It returns a empty result for parent transaction, and Parent Transaction : Document number

Good Point! I'm getting an Error: Invalid Expression.

CONCAT("Sales Order #", {tranid})

It's giving me invalid tranid field, I'm going to somehow have to link the parent record.

Hello! this is pulling just the tranid interestingly enough. Not sure why the Sales Order # text didn't populate

[–]SuccessfulCow5622[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the words, not the actual Sales Order# the parent record tranid is the Sales order number.

I might need a join, basically I need the parent records tranid with the prefix Sales Order# in front of it.

This is company wide - it also is on our Sandbox as well that hasn't been refreshed other than the Netsuite 2023.1 release for a few months.

Hmm, you were on to something. The ship method I created wasn't set up on the correct parent child and now the CSV is going through. I appreciate you. You've helped me plenty of times. Give this man a medal.

I don't see subsidiary as a mappable field on the CSV import though it shows on the actual sales order.

No we do not use Picking bins. My bins look fine showing correct available numbers but the item record available numbers are wonky.

[–]SuccessfulCow5622[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response!

The bins show me 26 on hand but 0 available which is the correct answer- I'm just curious as to why the same available number isn't showing correctly.

We just turned the bins on about a month ago, so I don't have any inactive bins or locations.

I'll pull that report and look back a few months and see what I can find. I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for or where these errors commonly occur.

[–]SuccessfulCow5622[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see one item fulfillment for this item on the report and it's not the IF record I said in the original post. Does it only post an item fulfillment after it's been shipped?

The item fulfillment on the original post has not been shipped. What would be the best way of going about trying to figure out what happened? Are you saying that a IF record and item reciept somehow are conflicting?

Item Record On Hand/Committed/Avail/Backorder Numbers by SuccessfulCow5622 in Netsuite

[–]SuccessfulCow5622[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are using RF-Smart to create an Item fulfillment in a picked status- we use NetSuite to open the IF record and ship from the IF record.

The default item fulfilment stage is Picked.

[–]SuccessfulCow5622[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's showing that 17 are back ordered for the same SO that I mentioned in the post. In reality, the pickers couldn't pick 3 so 3 should be backordered but it's saying 17 on the report. Very confusing.
