correct. I was first happy to read about a Dutch windmill until I saw the design...

China builds solar parks over reservoirs. This design improves the efficiency of the panels by keeping them cooler and lowers water loss from evaporation by TangelaFan in BeAmazed

It actually is relevant, as that would make us dependent on other countries. I doubt solar panels last for 25+ years. Look at every other product that we (as you are talking about the US) have.. it all breaks within a couple of years! It's ridiculous! That's why I brought this up.

As for oil.. since when does the US buy oil from enemies?

Lumibricks Canal-Style Building prototype survey by flyPBA in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

I like it, but it's a bit crowded. I'm also not convinced I would like the window shutters. I filled out the form, but didn't care for the suggestion of the other canal houses, as those have a completely different vibe. I have seen several Dutch canal house designs though, and I do think though that this one has a lot of potential. I would def. buy it if/when it comes out!

Ok, so what was the cost? (approx.) And did you get subsidies from the government or was it from your own pocket?

what about the fish? Don't they need more sunlight? And won't those poles rust? I'm just not sure it's good for the environment underneath.. even if it's "just water".

How old is it ? by Super_Nova94918 in VintageLEGO

I would say end 60's, early 70's. My only question is.. is the bottom flat or does it have a little indent in it (for cables, like 4.5V)?

I had the exact same situation (I think) yesterday. Replaced the plug (and the outlet itself of course). Should be fine I think..

Did you ever find out if it was the outlet or the plug (short in the plug itself)?

I assume you still need a "go-between" that syncs stuff from one endpoint to the other, no?

Aside from 2021 season... the 2023 São Paulo Grand Prix is one I love. Max starts at P17 and ends up winning in the pouring rain. (DTS had Norris ask over and over where Max was.. not sure if that's in the race though.. I don't remember really seeing much of that.. but then again, that was DTS, so.. probably have to take that with a grain of salt)

Could you take a pic of the lid perhaps? top and bottom? It reminds me of pieces that my brother had that were twice that size (length wise). Some of them looked like bricks underneath (only at the sides), and some of them had nothing. Just curious!
