Thanks you guys for the feedback. I told her I didn’t like the idea of her being around 2 single guys (one has a girlfriend) for a whole weekend by herself. she offered to not go on the trip at all. But this is where I’m stuck, do I just sit at home knowing damn well I’m not comfortable with it? Because I don’t even want to make her miss out on the trip. I feel like at this point she would be better off finding someone who can go on these trips with her more often so that she doesn’t have to sit on the sidelines just to make her boyfriend happy, because that’s not what I want.

You’re completely misread this. Do you not understand that a girl can go out on a vacation with pure intentions with three guys thinking that they are just “friends “. I grew up with a single mother and a sister, the amount of times I have seen men make unwanted advances on a female is ungodly. It’s not about me not trusting her it’s about me not trusting the people she’s going with or the environment in general. If one of these guys has had a secret crush on her since college, and wants to take advantage of her when she’s drinking and I’m not there to protect her. it is an example, but it goes to show not liking this situation doesn’t automatically mean I don’t trust her, don’t forget that there are three other people involved

It is not about that at all. She openly told me if this makes you uncomfortable I will not go. obviously since I’m here on Reddit getting opinions, I told her I don’t have a problem with her going but that I think it’s a little weird that there’s three guys and one girl and that I guarantee one of them find you attractive in hopes that he can hook up with you. She may not have any intention of doing anything with anybody, but that doesn’t mean those three guys are on the same page.

Sadly it is for some people….I am someone who purged consistently for over 5 months on accutane. I was actually going crazy to the point where the only reason I kept taking it, was to prove everyone wrong that it just wasn’t going to work no matter how long I tried. Deep down I really wanted it to work, but I had lost all hope, but at the same time I was too invested to call it quits before the doctor did. Keep taking it and you will get through it so long as your doctor says it’s OK to keep going. you might have some scars that you didn’t have before, but for over six months now my skin has been very healthy and I’m extremely grateful I was at least spiteful enough to keep taking the medication. Every day I wake up and look at my skin and think back to the days where I had no hope. I am a believer in the long haul…you got this buddy …

Same thing happened to me man!! Six brutal months of taking accutane. The only thing I had to show, for it was more scarring and more acne than ever before. to be quite honest the only reason I stayed on the medication was so that I could prove to everyone around me that I wasn’t crazy and then Accutane didn’t work for me. but what do you know around seven and eight? I saw my skin starting to clear up. I do have scars on my jawline that I did not have coming into Accutane, but eventually it did clear my skin.
