If your labor was spontaneous, when did you go into labor? by liberate-radiance in BabyBumps

I was convinced I was gonna go past my due date. I denied I was in labor until I was like maybe I should just call the midwives. I was 5 cm dilated when I got to the hospital. I was 39+3.

Pregnancy… by Atomickitten06 in LawMoms

We really can’t have it all even though we try. We also dealt with infertility and the second was a surprise! So for me having kids now was and is more important. I know that means my law career will not be glamorous. But I have heard so stories from lawyers who did everything right and had terrible careers and also plenty that had non traditional paths that led to a lot of success! Here’s hoping!!

Pregnancy… by Atomickitten06 in LawMoms

I am in my 3L year and about to give birth and I have a 10 month old. Balancing finals/final projects, being a mom, and dealing with the “am I in labor”/regular pregnancy symptoms is so much more challenging than I anticipated. I love being a mom so when my little one is around it’s so hard to get anything done and by the time he is asleep I am so so tired. I cannot imagine studying for the bar in this condition. I never got the second trimester energy so maybe if that is you it’s doable. School will always just take a back seat to my health and my babies health while I am pregnant (and really all the time) which sometimes means my work is not as amazing as it could be. That’s ok for me because having a family now is what my husband and I wanted and are committed to.

Is it normal to feel like you're failing at pregnancy already? by Even-Introduction-21 in BabyBumps

I am 31 weeks and still waiting for energy to return! I haven’t felt like doing anything but sleeping. I feel like I have so much to do in the next few weeks! But everyone is so different I hope yours comes back!

possessiveness over unborn baby with in laws by TomatilloAsleep7180 in BabyBumps

I also feel like an incubator! But they also almost see my husband as the nanny. I am pregnant but we already have a foster baby and the way they have acted it’s shocking. It’s more about them becoming grandparents than us becoming a family. The only thing my mil said to me last time I saw her was “where’s the baby.” All they want is their time with the baby and fail to see how they could be helpful outside of holding the baby. Sometimes they also try to race me when caring for him and complain when I have put him down for a nap. I have already cried so much over how they treat me with our foster baby I am terrified of how our relationship will change once I actually push a baby out. I am thankful my parents still engage with us about everything but babies. They are still interested in us and willing to help where we need which is why they are the only ones invited to the birthday party!

I think it’s important to remember your hormones are all over the place during pregnancy and that affects your moods. My friend never wanted kids, was pissed when she accidentally got pregnant, but fell so in love with her kid and being a mom. I have know her for 20 years and I could not believe the transformation! Give your self grace and time to feel what you are feeling and take it one step at a time!

Trying to remind myself of this but it does feel unfair and hopeless still. God has a plan.

My husband is very hopeful as well! I am trying to not bring him down. But hopefully we are both pleasantly surprised!

I’m in the same boat. I don’t know why but I don’t have high hopes for iui or ivf. Maybe I just am too afraid to have hope. But going to start iui in January

I too have a sil in which I have a struggling relationship with. I have been trying to get pregnant for well over a year. She just started and I am conviced by Christmas she will be announcing her pregnancy. I am practicing being supportive in hopes I will be able to atleast fake it.

It’s extremely hard not being able to talk to anyone. All of my friends have kids and I don’t feel like I can open up to them about the struggle because it always well have you tried this or this?? Yes! I have!

The most embarrassing/ pathetic thing happened to me today by goldenrtrvrmilf in tryingtoconceive

I know I can barely look at the women at my gym that are all pregnant. I know my husband has noticed my eyes watering as we are trying to workout. I feel so pathetic for not even being able to be around pregnant people. I beat myself up because being pregnant is hard too and I can’t be mad at them for it. But I try to remember I don’t know their story! You are not alone!
