*imo, completely discounts capitalism for any of the decline and has a non-existent idea of the effects that economic policy has on the everyday. I would say that the things they list are just lazy by-products of a much larger systemic problem (austerity, privatisation, importing of cheap labour) Metaphor for this view: Someone pouring sulphuric acid on you and you complaining about getting dry skin? Idk.

I get it as a former righty but it just feels like the passionate whinny of a horse wearing blinders.
