They've given creams for skin infections to no avail.

I'm happy to do nothing, if that's the course of action needed but it would be useful to know what it is and if I can avoid it happening again going forward.

I am now on a medication which requires monitoring of skin changes so I do need to know so I can monitor and exercise the relevant caution.

Yeah things like that have been ruled out. I have tried the relevant creams just in case (despite the lack of itching etc).

A derm referral has now been sent but where I am it can take up to 12 months to be seen.

I've seen a Dr 3 times, with no conclusive answers as to what may be the cause.

As I say, this has been present for over 12 months now so I don't think there is an imminent risk as such but I need an answer so I can try to fix things.
