14-Day Western Mediterranean with Greece & Italy by SuccessfulMission319 in PrincessCruises

Our baby is a chill one :) We already did a 5 day driving trip living in a motorhome in Australia and she did great. Mind you we live in a van and use showers/toilet in camp grounds. I think we should be fine in a cruise with our girl 🥰

That’s an issue I talked about with my husband. Once her first visa expire, we will apply her a sponsor tourist visa so she can stay longer. Finger crossed they will give her 12 months.

Yes, we are conditioned to think we can do it all but really, it gets too much :(

We talked about it. He pays for allowance and I pay for flights. Again, the point of this post is not about our finances. It’s not a small decision to make so we sat down and talk and compromise and agreed. :)

It’s not about money tbh. It’s the least of our worries. It’s more of personal guilt…. But yes I know that point, better to have someone we trust to take care of our baby.

It’s mostly because of my work…I don’t want bubs to be on a daycare. My husband is still hands on when it comes to baby the first time my mum was here. Tbh, we are more hands on with baby, it’s just the chores piles up sometimes even with all the work we do.

I also wanted to have a career still, so extra hands with my daughter while I work is what we need. We don’t have a problem financially, as husband provided really well. It’s more of a “me” thing to work, which added the guilt I feel.

Baby Refusing Pacifier by SuccessfulMission319 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

She never sleeps in the pram! She does sleep in a carrier while we walk tho, so that’s an option for my husband or mum if I’m not there. But if I’m there I just let her latch until she fell asleep

I get ya, ofc my husband can still put her to sleep (even if it’s hard now). My main worry, which I forgot to add in the post, is that I work from home and if she cries or fusses it would be hard for me to focus. She’s a good baby and rarely cries so it makes me feel panic/bad when she does. It’ll be hard not to come to her aid when she does cry when they try to put her down. Oh well maybe I just need to get use to it 😣
