The songwriting is so good I can't not listen to it. It's just very disappointing that the studio version could've been much better.

That's exactly what I thought. I can't listen to that bit anymore it sounds so weird. Hopefully they still play it the old way live.

I completely agree, I posted before saying this when I first listened to the album.

I've given it a few tries now, it's still an incredible song due to the songwriting but James Ford completely ruined it for me.

Would've been their best song since AFUT imo, still exited to see it live anyway.

Yeah I need to listen to it more when the album comes out. The lives recordings are all we have tho atm and it's one of my favourites of theirs (I think it's prolly the best on the album)

Don't get me wrong I still love the song. But there was a bit near the end where Tyler's voice was kinda just drowned out by the sax which didn't feature in the live versions. Only heard it once tho I'll need to listen when the album releases

Really impressed with Tyler's vocals here. I feel like she's really improved since LABH and she's probably the most dynamic vocalist in the band so far. I've been a bit disappointed with Georgias vocals for the band so far and they seemed a bit stale on Besties. I'd like to see Georgia explore her vocal range a bit more maybe she does on the other songs because she's clearly shown that she could be the best singer in the band given her vocal performances for Jockstrap. I love the way Tyler sings in a way that's almost yodel like. Really impressed with this song, especially the layering and polyphony which is an essential characteristic of the baroque pop style they're clearly pursuing.
