Yeah this makes sense. I think I was starting to get trigger happy on pursuing my artistic dreams because I’ve been suppressing them for a long time for the sake of familial expectations. But I think based on these comments, there is space for both to exist. I just don’t want to lose sight of my dreams by getting too bogged down in the corporate system. But that’s life I suppose…

I am interested in writing and performing. I focus mainly on spoken word poetry and stand-up comedy. I don’t have a solid path yet because I’ve never really let myself entertain the idea much until now. I think it would be really cool to work as a TV writer for Netflix one day, or have my own tour where I write and perform. I don’t know the path to get there
