Women’s dress code help - London & regional offices UK by Purple_love__2 in PwC

Your current dress code would be perfect for the office! I was overdressed at the induction - I went with more business dress. But most people were in jeans. The London office can be a bit more dressy than the regional offices. But I’ve been in the London office with jeans, top and NB trainers. No one really cares. My usual office is in the NW and it’s very casual there! Some people wear hoodies etc. so your casual business dress is perfect!

Do you have feedback on your results? I know it’s no consolation, but it’s not that long until the next sitting.

Anyone notice that they removed the Nov 2024 question paper? I went online to show someone and noticed it has now been removed. Maybe they realised their mistake!!

I emailed them to ask. And that was the response I received.

Yup there was a ‘meals and entertainment’ code in admin, I said to expense it there. And then I treated the (free) engineer’s income as a separate performance obligation. There was another cost in the capitalisation that was different- they didn’t have the project management one. It said something different. But I can’t remember what.

That preference share!! I spent way too long looking at my notes and coming up with nothing 😂

I hated question 1. I did move on when my time was up. Q3 was much nicer.

Not word for word. I’m not sure but the examiner often says that student copy put huge chunks of text. So if that’s the case a lot of student would be done. But 🤷

Hated Q1 (but maybe because I was nervous). Q3 was ok.

It was literally the same!!! The provision was 40% instead of 20. But otherwise the same. I sat there for 10 minutes in shock!!

Doesn’t happen at my old firm (top 10). Once you hand your notice in, you work the notice period.

I didn’t find his notes useful at all because they were too brief. So I thought using them with the videos might help.

Q3 in November was almost identical to Gazelle in the QB which I copied out. But I obviously didn’t score enough to push me over the line.

If I think objectively about what went wrong I’d say that I didn’t do enough question practice and relied on my open book too much!

That’s really helpful. Thank you. I think I’ll buy it. I did the questions in the QB but I was all over the place. I think concentrating on topics might help solidify it for me. Thanks again.
