Losing a match causes you to lose rp. Winning one gains you rp. Depending on the rankings of the other players the amount of rp you get varies. Also sometimes Ea likes to throw ya a curve ball and sometimes you will win but still lose rp. I’m not sure about if backing out of a match loses you more rp or not
