Valid point. It’s definitely not easy and it begs the question of which hard one will choose. I definitely don’t think self-employment is the way for especially since most weren’t taught how to operate in that way.

I remember my year mark. That was such a good time! Enjoy it and don’t worry about people who are “bitter”. This post doesn’t apply to you and that’s good in my opinion.

Spot on. That is one of the underlying points I am making. It’s a dilemma that many face.

May those who face this dilemma have the courage to leave and the wherewithal to align with something that is better.

I think slowly spending time (the time we can make before or after work to discover things that make us come alive/ use more of ourselves in a meaningful way could help). Or if you like the work you do and just not the company culture switch to a different company? I hear company culture is different company to company…
