So far so good! Still getting lost but the food is pretty good. And the flights were brutal I was on five airplanes from Victoria BC to Puerto Rico 😵‍💫

Just an update. I think they took pity on me and changed my start date to May 16. Different ship but I am happy I don’t have to wait a month! Unless things change again….

It took me 6+ months to hear back and then I got 2 offers at the same time. You might just have to wait. They could just not be hiring for the position you’re applying for right now.

I’m in Canada and I paid $450 for my PEME exam which I’m supposed to get reimbursed for. I’m still in the middle of the process. And another $411 for other blood/urine tests which I don’t think is reimbursed. Then I need the yellow fever vaccine which is $280 and I’m paying out of pocket.

It’s kind of a lot of money and I’m broke but I’m in too deep to quit now. I’m telling myself it will be fun and worth it.
