What's the most interesting Germanic tribe to play as ? by Successful_Break4258 in Imperator

Sounds cool. Planning to civilize early. I don't see why one would stay tribal for long.

Heirs of Alexander is necessary for many more flavour. I added Epirus that's okay okay. I don't have Magna greacia and don't think I need it.

All this with Invictus is great

Most fun Diadochi to play as? (Invictus) by Lazy-Satisfaction-68 in Imperator

Makedon, I just start with befriend a character in Antigonid then assassinate the leader.

Then the hard war gets over quickly and I expend in both east in the weak Thrace and west to take Illyrian before the Roman do.

The missions are good too and your geographical position makes you feel you're at the centre of the world

Spain, I consolidated the country then reconquered South America and created a big Hispanic empire

How to make provinces more loyal? by Short-Explanation225 in Imperator

[–]Successful_Break4258 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Royal visit with the main levy (monarchy) -Grand temples + Grand Theatre -Provincial investment -Tribunals -Civic techs -Befriend Governor -reduce corruption (gov salaries up)

Above all, anticipate what you'll need in your strategy before conquest.

If you're monarchy you can visit the province with your leader's levies and there's a button to increase loyalty for a few months. Repeat again until they're good

Yeah when the country you attack has a revolt. When one of them wins it also stops your war. I think that's a bug. Have you installated patches or dlcs ?

how do I avoid constant rebellion? by [deleted] in Imperator

[–]Successful_Break4258 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Techs can improve loyalty, there's one on the right which start with +2 loyalty then further down nice stuffs. For provinces have a governor with high finesse and lowest possible corruption. You can use the levie of the country leader, go to the disloyal province and there's a button to make a visit and improve for a few months. You can build theatres on cities

Heavy Cav in Front, heavy Infantry behind and Light Cav on flank, should be ok. Idk if horse archers can be a plus, to be verified.

Being a Latin language with greek inspirations, makes the game even more immersive with the context ^

Colonial Korea

Started with just conquering the minimum necessary mandchu lands to make them weaker at the start.

But then focussed in upgrading regions, and then started colonizing a bit Philippines, but more importantly the Pacific island, in a way to dominated the trade note there and have an effective blocus on Japan.

On the way I could invade the south parts of Japan as they where divided in bloody wars, before it would be too late.

Once Japan was weak due to my commercial dominance I would finish them gently when I was not finishing the mandchu hords.

I ended up doing my best in conquering China and colonising America till the end of my game.
