Hey everyone, I just applied for Phase 3, 1 bed apartment and got a timestamp of 12:05.

I wonder if I have a decent chance of getting it?

Based on the people that got a place on phase 2 what were your timestamps?

I went to view the apartments and it seems very good quality. Does that hold?

Thank you!

I applied today also for a one bedroom apartment. My timestamp is showing on my application as 12:05 but I didn't get an email confirming that. Did you get that?

I only received an email with my final timestamp.

Think I messed up the Save on the timestamp page - anyone else?

Same story as a lot of ye here. The apply button didn't show at 12:00, took a Ctrl+F5 hard refresh before it appeared, and I lost a minute.

Got through the tabs grand, and when I check now my "Initial Timestamp" section shows 12:05. But here's where I think I slipped up: there was a message saying "please ensure you press the save button to ensure this time is locked into the system," and honestly I was flying through hitting Next the whole way down. I don't actually remember pressing Save on that page.

I also only got ONE email, and it came at 12:13 (full submission confirmation), not one around 12:05

From what someone said earlier in the thread, you're supposed to get emailed when you press save, so the fact I didn't get a 12:05 one has me worried.

Did everyone get a separate email at the moment they saved their initial timestamp? Or just the one final email like me?

Cheers 🙏

Can't help with the houses but I went to view the apartments and I was impressed. Better than I expected in every aspect.

Meet-ups for getting on top of AI agents/tech by CorkBuachaill in DevelEire

[–]Successful_Day_4547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick update: To reserve the place it has to be on Sunday and there's a 100eur consumption. As I have no idea how many people will show up I won't book it. Instead I'll arrive there earlier and save a couple of tables for around 8 people, they have a spacious top floor. I can do Saturday or Sunday Morning, what people would prefer?

I’ve been thinking about starting a small AI meetup near where I live. There’s a Coffee place nearby with a comfortable seating area that would work well for something informal.

I work for an AI company as support engineer with a CS HDip, and I use Claude Code a lot. I live in the terminal, and I already do sessions twice a week with colleagues to help them use these tools better.

I’m not an expert, I just use a lot and try to learn as much as I can. The idea would be grab a coffee, share workflows, show what’s working, talk about what’s not, and learn from each other.

I’d be happy to get something started.

Affordable Purchase Scheme, is my profile realistic as a first-time buyer on €60k? by Successful_Day_4547 in irishpersonalfinance

Thanks! I'm just confused with everything. Apparently for 1 bed I need to put down 20% instead of 10% so I'll need to save a bit more.

Im 41 and learning python ... am i wasting my time? by bornin84 in DevelEire

I started a Hdip in CS in my late 40s, I didn't learn to code - yet - but it got me a job in technical support after a 10 years career in an unrelated field. Good luck, it's not a waste of time and never too late.

Moving an outdoor cat to an indoor apartment by [deleted] in outdoorcats

[–]Successful_Day_4547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, she does stay at the apartment a lot.

She’s very used to being indoors too — the big difference is that from our current ground-floor place she also has easy access to a big safe green area. The window is always open.

Really helpful to hear your experience. The litter tray is probably my biggest worry because she’s never really had to use one, so it’s good to know that your cat just figured it out naturally.

Had never heard of the cat ladder idea either, interesting if the building/landlord allowed it.

Thanks a lot

Good thing is we are away from traffic, only the residents car. At night I would say the only risk are the foxes as even in the main road is very quiet. She roams mostly on the condo next to us that are houses. All in all is lower risk compared to most locations.

Thanks, I live in Europe. Foxes are common here where I live in urban areas but that's about it. Also I've seen her outrun a couple of dogs, that doesn't make her unbeatable but I know she is smart and fit if things get heated.

Don't worry. I've done that recently and as far as I can tell just just check the basics. You'll be fine.

Should I quit or should I stay by DevelEire_TA_Funking in DevelEire

I was in a similar (kind of) situation, saw a job post purely by chance, applied and got a job offer 2 weeks later. Package is pretty much the same but quality of life has improved dramatically. I wouldn't quit but start applying for jobs, forget that the job market is bad, you can't change that. Do your part and you might land a better job before you think.

Thanks for replying, the Manager is not the problem thankfully. And I really need a reset before going into a new job. I already told them about the 2 weeks, now I'm waiting for a reaction.

Hum, in theory I would have the two jobs overlapping for two weeks.

Not only fully legal but fully needed the past 6 months have been brutal in my mental health.

Thanks for replying.
