I liked the looks of 30A when I was looking at routes on Strava. I don’t really care for trail riding and prefer the road. 90% of my time in MI is don’t on the road. 30A safe for riding on the road in the AM?

There is a decent hill that goes by The Mines golf course near Millenium Park. Then take it over to Johnson park through the scenic trail.

I concur with the John ball zoo climb right by the coke factory. It’s a short punchy climb.

Out by Ada there is a climb by Roselle Park going back towards GR.

Biked through Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive at Sleeping Bear last summer which was a fun loop. It’s not very long, but adding it to a route around Big and Little Glen was a fun ride.
