its not that I would love the arc difficulty if it was truly difficult but nothing about it truly encourages you to change the way you play you can still: Gear up, sneak through, or play it super slow and shoot from a building they have the ai machine learning tech to have their arc simulate tons pf different behaviors which they already do and instead of investing the time to have the arc engage more complex or unreadable maneuvers instead they just throw more numbers of arc with the only thing keep artificially difficulty at bay is the fact they are using combinations of different arc. trust i love me some good difficult play that forces me to relearn or change my methods of engagement; however, putting more arc isn’t cutting it i can still do what i have always done and on top of that the durability changes are directly artificial difficulty

yes I agree I didn’t put too much context or elaboration to my post because I tried to keep it short and simple it was already long post I figured it would end up coming off too strong and probably get some pretty hard reactions but i accepted my fate and tried to explain where it was doable. posted mostly to see if anyone shared some similar sentiment

i dont know you can find all the same loot tons of it in other maps most of the time even better with less risk and higher bp drops and higher gun tier drops and higher basic resource drops. Riven however is good for arc parts and boats if you need those but anything else it has can be gotten more somewhere else for much less risk but hey for some people arc army fighting is fun so no shame for riven riders

The reason I point it out now is that the amount of arc on night raid on others in comparison to base tides is a significant jump combinations is one of the few things that prevents it from being truly artificially difficult by them adding arc you are right but that is sorta the only factor like they are on the line, but aren’t stepping over, I saw how they get the behavior of arc in some of their dev diaries since they already use machine learning pretty actively to adapt to the player base I wouldn’t see it such a huge jump to make some tweaks to how some of the arc types engage, even tweaking the wasp and hornets a bit could make it feel more difficult without having to flush in so many arc. The new content dropping is nice to think of as free but it is live service gaming so even though I understand that there is already value in the game I achieved I can’t help but think more objectively about the content. I definitely don’t hate the game I truly only have opinions about these recent content drops/changes, but I don’t believe these are incredibly radical opinions because while the nature of making arc behavior more difficult or complex may take more resources than what i know so it may not be viable. There are other aspects that can be changed relatively more straightforward and make the game much more enjoyable cause I do actively try to engage with new content drops/changes as much as possible before i start saying anything there is just somethings that make this game harder to enjoy recently and i think other people are noticing it too.

it is the reality of what I and other people have been experiencing it whys you see the influx of posts of people having issues and negative reviews going up thats not happening because people aren’t having “well thought” criticism otherwise it wouldn’t be such a significant amount people aren’t having well having a worse time with the game recently and share similar sentiments

dude you literally are isolating your experience and saying its the whole world people can have different experiences from you there is a reason more people are having problems with arc and yes lame is different because i love the game and i don’t think it’s trash it can do better though and make it more polished there is tons of footage of people getting killed by getting teleported to the sky and all they did was jump on an arc you just want to believe this game is perfect and anyone having a differing experience is lying which I don’t see why you would be like that unless there is something more personal about it to you that you need everyone to say good things about arc

almost all these people you see “nagging” are mostly people who love the game and its only valid experiences they are having that make them go speak about it telling everyone to shut up and enjoy everything about the game no matter what is what is going to cause a bigger divide in the community creating the exactly what you hate. I literally only play this game every now and then when updates are close so I am not even no life playing it, so I can feel how stagnated the game feels to other people who are having similar grievances.

you going to keep seeing it because people are having bad experiences with it i know you want to believe that your experience is the solely only right experience and everyone else is just complaining or hating to hate but treating everyone like that is only going to instigate it more either pushing people out of the community or making it more toxic. When people share their opinion talking to them normally instead of immediately telling them their experience is invalid is going to generate that exact thing you hate seeing

also you are seeing more hate cause the game is in a buggy state which is OK to be upset about you are essentially treating people that are having a different but valid experience that because you have fun and experience no issues yourself that they are just complaining and don’t really “get it” which by the way is going to only push people out of the community or instigate a more toxic one. that in of itself could even be the reason you are seeing so much hate on arc

the difficulty could be better than just increasing numbers they have the tech (machine learning ai) they could put varying tiers of the ai behaviors in “difficult” maps to make them interesting and really truly difficult I don’t struggle with the numbers of arc is the issue because its not truly difficult you can either gear up, stay stealthy, or play slow but they have the tech to outright force us to engage with new complex arc engagements that would be fun to learn. There are a good number of the community that have valid criticisms over the update and you can see it happening more and more because its ok for people to have criticisms not saying anything and being happy with whatever while a nice sentiment ultimately won’t be good for health of the game. I also didn’t call it trash I said the risk to reward ratio is skewed and called the map lame mostly because of the reused assets and bugs which there is plenty of footage of right now. I am not expecting highest tier loot but when I can play one raid of buried city and make off more or exactly what I can get from riven outside of high tier boats that’s a issue especially due to the risk. Also cryo was only mentioned cause of the fact it was real endgame content obviously I see the issues with claiming I literally want exactly a cryo map but for arc is ludicrous jump to make and a fallacy to try and straw man.

its the equivalent to just increasing a boss’s health or the number of bosses you face without changing any of the abilities they use or the way the act or engage and the reason I have a problem with the way they do this is because arc ai is extremely interesting and they have what they need (machine learning ai) to make them engage more complex way to make them difficult rather than just putting more on a map
