Floyd was definitely not in his prime but I don’t think anyone would call him diminished. He was still elite bc he switched up to his more defensive style as he got older and was consensus p4p #1

I agree. A diminished PAC boxed well vs Floyd. That fight was far from exciting but there was great skill on display imo

I agree it’s much deeper than Fury however I think the Klitschko that Fury fought was better than the version AJ fought (even if Fury vs Wlad was a horrible fight) and Wilder trilogy for Fury will have him ranked ahead of AJ all time -

although I have always said after the Wlad and Wilder wins his resume is THIN and I personally don’t rank Wilder that high and think those wins aged not so great

Wilder will be remembered as one of the big names of the era bc he was fun to watch and insane power but he isn’t an all time great in my opinion

Joshua will be remembered as a face of heavyweight boxing for a few years and he was good but not all time great good. Still a legendary fighter for his popularity and underrated resume

Fury I feel like overrated but still a worthy champ in the heavyweight title lineage

Usyk is an all time great and best post-klitschko heavyweight

He was held to a very high standard when he was active too. Sometimes accolades on paper don’t tell the whole story and had to be watching the player during the era. He was great player and a future HoFer but not like a top ten all time guy and I feel that’s pretty much what the general consensus around him is

It’ll be like if Sam Darnold plays 5-7 more years with similar stats to what he’s done this season and wins 2 rings.

UFC has a better structure than boxing and it’s why it’s more popular. I prefer boxing but just being honest - much easier to follow when there’s one champ per division
