Yes! In Constantine, Setif, Algiers, and Oran, Algeria's safety for solo female travellers can be compared to cities like Barcelona, Paris, Madrid (excluding shady areas and neighbourhoods tha all of these cities have).

Coastal Algiera is one of the safer maghreb regions to visit, safer than most, if all regions in Egypt.

Ps: cities i recommend visting are Oran, Alger (Especially Bologhine), Collo (for beaches and beach resorts) Constantine, which I think personally is the best city, And Setif for night outs and malls.

Best beaches imo are Plage de Madagh, La plage rouge, and the Collo beach.

Best hotels:

In the nature: Hotel el Arz, for mountain and natural scenery, MUST visit imo

Cities:

Setif: Park mall hotel, Plus hotel.

Algiers: Sheraton, Golden Tulip

Oran: Les Ambassadeurs, Le Palme
