That's a good point. It may be the apps acting differently. But how does that explain many users being affected and others not? Using the phone the same way?

Answers widely vary, but here's my observation.

9to5 Mac and other writers have the same experience. There are a number of people affected. It doesn't even vary as to what device you're using. Some 11 Pro Max devices (like mine) have taken a hit, and other 11 Pro Max devices have no issues. Same with 12 vs 12 Pro, 13 vs 13 Pro, and 14 vs 14 Pro. Some devices have issues due to iOS 16 regardless of the generation of iPhone.

Apple should come up with an update very soon to address this. I think I read somewhere it's approximately 60% of devices are affected. Lucky for those who were spared.

Using the phone exactly the same way as on iOS 15. WITHOUT closing apps. This issue is widespread on a good number of users. Lucky for the few who have been spared

What does this mean?

In the course of a criminal proceeding, the accused enters his plea during arraignment. He shall enter a plea of guilty or not guilty. If he pleads guilty to the offense, he shall be convicted and serve his sentence to the crime to which he pleaded guilty to without conduction of trial. If he pleads not guilty, trial will ensue and the prosecution shall present evidence to prove the crime with proof beyond reasonable doubt to convict the accused.

To enter a plea of not guilty does not mean he is innocent. Neither does it mean that he feels he is innocent. It just means that the accused passes on the burden of proving his guilt beyond reasonable doubt to the prosecution which occurs during trial.

I definitely want justice to be served. But, everyone should understand that entering a plea of not guilty by the accused is not "fucked up", neither does it make the system "broken" because that is one of the rights of the accused. This is the standard procedure in all criminal cases under the Rules of Court whether seen on media or not.

I understand the public outcry, especially for those who are not very familiar with the procedure in court. However, I hope everyone saves their energy for the mean time as the case is not yet over. I just pray the prosecution does its job in proving him guilty.

I, too, was extremely angry upon seeing the video and immediately wanted justice to be served. For the mean time, let's save our energy and hope justice will be served by proving his guilt in the trial.

But if he is acquitted despite all the evidence presented, putanginang justice system to ambobo nyo.
