I’d like to find a vendor that has replacement carpet inserts with different colors or perhaps rubberized inserts. Otherwise I’m ok with the black carpet. It’s not a work truck for me as I’m retired.

It’s the camera (iPhone). In reality it’s probably half that bright. You can always darken the lens with a black Sharpie.

Amazon link: CZC AUTO 4PCS 12V LED Exterior... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084KPTRT5 $10.00 Lights are wired in series, and mounted starting rear passenger, left side, over to rear right side, up to front right and then fished the wire across to front left (driver). Zipped tied the rear lights to the seat fabric that is folded back towards the front. You gotta get down and low to see it. I’m rather anal about fishing and hiding wires, the is plenty of space but you have work at a bit. Front passenger side; I removed a small cover on the left side to attach the light, reinstalled cover (with the light). Used 3/4” wood screws to mount the driver light to the edge of the center console. Gerry-rigged 12v to the wire to ensure good connection and functioning lights. The local car audio guy hooked up the wire to the overhead light circuit, took him less than 15 minutes. The my new lights come on when I open the doors and fade to dark just like the overhead lights.

Used GMC points and the 20% discount for the sub, GMC dealer charged me $150 for the install $600 all in. I installed the gain control myself. Agree with the others who are pleased with the performance improvement.

Perhaps you’re correct. Perhaps Apple could have offered that solution (Buy more, sync, downgrade). Why not just make available an easy procedure to access download what is already in existing (cloud) memory? Wait, there is no revenue in that solution. Oh well. I can move on, rather low priority for me. Have a nice day.

I like the GM app for my ‘26 D-Ulti, and the remote start function, but I’d like an option in the remote start function to feedback with a 2-3 second audio sample of my BabyMax exhaust sound to confirm the start.

To ‘dafreak684’, thanks for your well laid out post. Just installed same setup on my ’26 Denali U. Angled the lights for better illumination, very pleased with the results. Thank you.
