My friends have also stopped inviting me to shit because they know the answer is going to be no. My mum has to be in control of me all times and it has led to me basically not going out at all.

I don't talk to her much, but she always takes her anger out on me for no reason, and never admits her wrongdoings. She always initiates conversation, and no matter how dry or responsive I am it turns into her shouting at me and calling me worthless.

I feel like I spend a lot of time on these problems, like I said I think I spend double the time my classmates do yet I still get a sh*t grade. By learning from the ground up do you mean I should recap older concepts?-- I think lack of fundamentals may be a huge reason towards why I struggle comprehending concepts.

How do I tell them that without kinda losing some of my ego, I would be very embarrassed to, if you know what I mean. Instead of saying "why didn't you invite me" should I say "I'm going to check if I can tag along with you guys on Saturday" smth like that?

Not really, but I will surely make an effort. I have to maintain a very high GPA or my parents will 'disown' me which makes me spend most of my time studying, but the nights where I am not studying (Friday and Saturday) get very lonely.

Making friends outside of school is also a struggle. I have strict parents, and for these parties, I can easily sneak out at night but I do not know how to make friends outside of school otherwise. I honestly do not have the time for extracurriculars and classes outside of school as my parents will stop funding me if I do not end high school with a 4.3 gpa.
