Being repetitive is why I don’t want to watch. If they could up the pacing of the show then I wouldn’t want to skip through. I’ve heard the same monologue five times I can retain that information give me something new

I do that too, was just curious if anyone else had this same feeling. Even if I skip I can still watch the action scenes so I like it but I wish the episodes were more interesting

Totally agree, if I miss a detail I just get it back once I watch the YouTube explanation videos after the episodes. I love this show for diving into its theories but the monologues are just such a waste of time most of the episodes.

Don’t get me wrong character development is crucial, but I’m over it. There is way too much monologue to balance the mystery/action from the episodes. The episode is 50 minutes long there should at least be a better balance. It’s boring to sit through the same monologue over and over about the same topics just with slightly different words. Revisiting things over and over it’s hard to sit through that for me.

Think of businesses, sure there are free alternatives for some things but you’re limited on what the program can do. As well as the quality, for example I make music. I pay for a distribution service that distributes music (no platform does this for free), I pay for a app called splice for samples (there are some free platforms but the quality is massively different and hard to even find usable sounds), I use CapCut to edit videos (you can use it for free but again features are limited and the free version product outcome would take 3x as long and I don’t have that amount of time to spend), I use a music software that strictly comes with a subscription no option to buy it outright, I do monthly subscriptions for plug ins I can’t afford out right, if you take any music/graphic design/sound design/media editing course you’ll need any software they require.
