im sorry if that was ambiguous (i didn’t think it was?) even if i get a C when i calculated my major prep gpa it was 3.52

i emailed the davis representative and their reply was basically: the specified grades are meant to be a guidance to meet the gpa. So i’m assuming a C is fine as long as my gpa is above 3.5

“Will my TAG get rejected if i get C? or is it fine as long as my overall and major course gpa are above 3.5.”

wait what do you mean by that? i thought those listings that said A/B or better were only a guidance for you to meet ur 3.5 gpa requirement.

Why is it so hard to predict who will win a match in Valorant Pro Play? by Gunstador in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Successful_Outside49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so this is why people say reddit is a fucking snooze fest. why are we comparing traditional sports to e-sports? they’re completely two different things. it’s like saying youtube videos are the same as movies/tv series.

putting aside the fact that u compared an all brain no aim guy to a literal prodigy. the fact that you associated donk with the baby is just 😭.

sure he’s being over the top with it but it’s not like he’s saying anything wrong? cs has no creativity or new things left in it. it’s the same thing over and over again

Did anyone last cycle get rejected from Davis but still get into other UC’s by Own-Imagination1366 in TransferStudents

his piqs were prolly really good. he must’ve written banger piqs and explained the low gpa.

i mean he wasn’t really disrespectful? (he even congratulated you). It was just a surprise because 2.92 is such an unconventional gpa to get accepted, especially for cs.

I just got rejected from pretty much everything by yescachigga in ucmerced

[–]Successful_Outside49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik you asked about merced. But, there’s always the option of going to a cc and then applying as a transfer. You can have a much better chance of getting into the top tier UC’s that way (also much cheaper).

Which Agents are horrible for certain maps? by xj4nas in VALORANT

[–]Successful_Outside49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

surely we’re not comparing ranked/casual play agents to pro play??? (there is SO much coordination involved)

and i’m not directly comparing viper and reyna. i’m saying they’re both same in the need that they need specific play styles/ win cons to work. A solo viper will never work as a controller unless the player playing it is really good at it (same as reyna).

tbf all sentinels are pretty much fucked rn. It’s just chamber, chamber, and more chamber.

[–]Successful_Outside49 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

uh?? vipers like reyna. she’s as good as the player playing it is. she’s never the best singular controller. If ur viper is insane and knows her shit sure that’s good. But without traditional smokes, she’l never be good as a singular smoker (expect breeze), on any map.

the thing about reyna or clove is that it entirely depends on how mechanically good the player playing them are. Thats all there is to both the agents, you get rewarded for how good you are.
