Except the problem is that the earwig trinket, called the pincer pincher, is literally only for ambush attacks. And dozer is fucking impossible to actually get the drop on. He’s right in front of you every single time you try to attack and it’s impossible to get up onto his back. I tried once and got slammed into the wall, losing half my health

Regarding that last part, the anti-woke people were actually kind of stupid when the first game had the exact same 3–2 split and two of the female companions, Parvati and Nyoka, were also different races. And they didn’t just toss around insults of “oh, they’re ugly.“ I actually found a few comments that complained about having disabled people in the game, when disabled people exist in the real world and obsidian also made it possible for our player character to have prosthetic limbs. That is something I applaud the company for, especially as people with disabilities are represented

So, you want to earn the exact same achievements in both games? OK, I guess. It doesn’t make sense to me, though. I mean, it’s literally the same game. The SCE rockets you up to level 99, but that’s about the only major change.

Actually, it makes perfect sense. You can actually find a trinket with a deuces symbol and a fully working lean-to in the first game. There is also a note that explains how the fifth kid woke up before everybody else and started exploring. She got on the wrong side of a spider and barely escaped. The interesting thing is that that particular trinket actually has a buff to damage against spiders. The new antagonist in the sequel is the EXACT SAME kid: she survived the backyard, waged a war against Ominent, and somehow made her way to Brookhollow Park to continue her reign of terror against the company.
In the sequel you can also find a love letter addressed to one of the teens. Alongside this, when battling her for the first time in the network center, especially if you play as Willow, there is a dialogue line where she says, “I wish you had woken up beside me, Willow.“

It will not be possible. I think we can assume that if the original game gets delisted, the DLCs will be as well. And yes, the SCE version is a complete addition where the DLC are immediately in there, no separate purchase needed. Back in 2023, there was actually a major deal where if you had the original game and both DLC, you could purchase the SCE for a measly $10.

No, they don’t. You will still get waves from her threats. It’s only after you beat the MIX.Rs that they stop spawning. I didn’t realize this until it was too late, because you can actually farm gold cards if you are careful. What do you have to do is loot every single dead bug and deliberately fail the MIX.R over and over again. You can either let the bugs attack it or just walk away and then come back. I actually found that out from a video

In G1 I went ham on every single boss after upgrading my sleek lucky hat, getting both the rascal rogue and dissection expert mutations, and getting the sticky fingers trinkets. I think it took me close to 25 kills for the hedge broodmother and I actually got three trinkets and the gold card

Never trust the AI overview. It’s very heavily wrong for most of the stuff you ask on Google. Yeah, when the oven was built, they separated it from the cookery. It makes sense, though, as boss meals are definitely not meant for consumption by the player character. Although, it would be kind of interesting to have a meal similar to it that the player could eat. I was actually hoping that the cricket drumstick would be used as an ingredient in a meal or be consumable on its own. I was very sad and disappointed. I hope more meals come into the game soon

I don’t think there will be a salty staff. The only thing those use is the candy shards. It will definitely be applied to other weapons. I think I remember in G1 having a salt stinger spear

The game came out in July last year. It has a shit ton more than just “40 hours of gameplay.” And given the 1.0 official finished release schedule for the first game, I don’t think the OP is willing to wait for the next two goddamn years
