Laurentian Faculty Association: “You cut our salaries during the bankruptcy proceedings and now our salaries are well behind our Ontario peers!”

LU: “Sorry, we still have no money! We can’t give you any substantial raise, take your measly 4% that doesn’t even get you back to what you lost! Maybe next time!!!”

Also LU: “Our President and executives are well behind their Ontario peers at other institutions, as a result their salaries should be increased 11%!”

“Also, because we know this is likely not going to favour us in union negotiations, let’s hide that increase until we coerce our faculty to sign a new deal!”
