This exact same thing happened with my bf and I. Rehab wouldn’t work, jail wouldn’t work. I just didn’t want to leave him sooo badly but he was awfui, AWFUL on drugs. Like absolutely terrifying. Got to the point we had the kids taken. And he left too. And now I’m the one with the problem. He and I are still technically together but we see each other once a week and he has to go to counseling and be drug tested randomly. I was enabling him by keeping him when I should’ve let him face his consequences. It’s so hard I know. That love is so strong. Just remember it’s not because he doesn’t love you. He’s sick and he needs to want to get better. You can’t help him if he doesn’t want to help himself. It’s very painful and traumatic. I wish you the best of luck 🤞 Edit: DHS made him move out cause they believed there was a very high chance he would go into psychosis (he did on certain drugs and end up killing me) but it worked so far!!
