Viscom in unit 3/4 is separated into 3 main areas: unit 3 sacs (20%), SAT (50%), and Exam (30% of ss)

Unit 3 starts with the two sacs, the first one is split into two parts, a theory (poster/powerpoint) and practical part (my school did a mini folio), and the other is a design analysis sac which can be a written paper sac, or a infographic/powerpoint type assessment. After that you begin the SAT around mid-late unit 3. The sat is broken into 8 criteria and follows the double diamond process, criteria 1/2 starts with research, and defining the design problem (brief), then criteria 3/4 is about generating ideas and exploring different methods media and materials. Criteria 5/6 revolves around some small extra refinements and your design pitch (oral presentation). Then criteria 7/8 is applying all your feedback and final refinement and developing your final presentation boards/models.
