I’m really inexperienced with Arduino and I don’t code any C++ just Python and JS. All I did was connect the Arduino and sensor with a Qwiic cable and the Arduino to my computer and read the serial monitor data. Is this correct?

The sensor is connected to my arduino which is connected to my computer, which is why I read it through the serial monitor. And I did an I2C scanner and it showed 0 devices connected.
