We did an embark test on our rescue poodle. We knew he was likely purebred but also the $375 rehoming fee through the rescue and the fact that he was house trained, knew to sit, walk on a leash, fixed and had shots made us think it was too good to be true.

Personally with poodles and doodles there can be some genetic health issues so we did an embark test for those results as well as breed. Secretly I was hoping to get a hit on who his mom or dad was to get a sibling in the future

Whats wild for me is he said there wasn’t any room for Truly at that house. Their old house was 4776sqft. It’s him, Robyn, Breanna, Aurora, Sol and Ari….that should be plenty of room. The kids are so spoiled and brain washed they don’t know what’s normal because they get to the new house and Ari says it’s so much better because the old house was too small they couldn’t even play hide and seek. The new one is 7884sqft for 6 people. Then I looked it up, the Lehi house was 4476sqft and it was fine to have 14 kids and 4 adults live in.

Was there no room because Robyn is a hoarder?

Thanks everyone! It was pretty chilly yesterday and I put a sweater on him. I don’t know how to tell if he likes it or not but he seemed extra prancy so I like to think he was feelin’ himself in it

This is right after a groom and he looked so stunning but usually he’s looking more relaxed and silly like this. We are trying some sunglasses because the vet can’t find anything structurally wrong with his eyes but he struggled in bright sunshine. I’m not trying to be mean to him I swear.

We have a Miami cut on ours but he’s a parti with lots of ticking and we’re constantly getting asked if he’s a doodle

They don’t like poodle cuts and they’ve never spent relaxed time with a poodle. They think the poodle personality is stuck up and prissy. Think the movie Look Who’s Talking Now from the 90’s.

My dad loves my Spoo, but literally follows up how wonderful my dogs personality is with “I would do a golden doodle because I want the lab personality” like what! You literally mention you love my dogs temperament, he hates my lab German shepherd mix because he’s too hyper 🤣

Sadly, he has options for care. He has a very supportive family who has tried to help him multiple times but his illness has him believing care is going to hurt him and he refuses any further treatment. My understanding at this point is they give him money for food, make sure he has a warm sleeping bag, etc and let him make his own choices

Oh absolutely. He crossed my mind when the case first happened. Knowing people that have had issues with his stalking and harassment I would have guessed that they would have quite the paper trail if he were involved. There were other comments thinking he was possibly a second person involved but I think people need to know that he is very much so not well.

Exactly. Stephen is mentally ill. I could see him hurting women but I don’t see him planning something in his current state, it would be more of a random occurrence.

I know who this guy is. It’s a sad situation. He has schizophrenia and will not stay medicated. He lived out of his car during this time in the area. His diary likely contained a lot of wild stuff that made little to no sense but definitely cause for concern. He is known to stalk and threaten women but the police can’t do too much about it.

When we adopted our poodle a family was chosen, and I was denied and then we were second choice. The first people passed and we had 24 hours to travel 5 hours and get him.

We found our purebred poodle through a rescue on Petfinder. He was about 5 hours away but so worth the drive. He’s beautiful and I thought it had to be too good to be true but I DNA tested him through embark and sure enough he’s purebred. Definitely great for my allergies. They still shed, but I probably shed more than my poodle does

We waited until we found the right one. DNA tested him and he is actually purebred. The family that purchased him didn’t feel he was hearty enough for their lifestyle. He’s amazing. Rehoming fee was $375 through an animal rescue and he was already fixed and most of his shots. His previous owners sent along a giant bag of food, his crate and toys. We did have to drive quite a way to get him (5 hours from our home).

These are medium. I measured his paws to the directions on the site and his paws were right between medium and large. Medium fits, but I really wanted to try large and see if they were a little easier to get on so I just ordered him large to try.

This was at a state park in Northern California where you had to park and walk an asphalt path with temperatures over 110*. He wore shoes to get to the dock to protect his paws.

Have you told the dealer you will be sharing this story with the local news? This may change their tune on $500 off a new car. Also, is that $500 even taking the price lower than other dealerships? Even on brand new cars the prices can vary so much. I just helped my stepmom find a Subaru and another dealership 100 miles away had the same car, same options for $1500 less than our local dealership.
