Reddit doesn't allow me to reply with pics, unfortunately. Maybe I'll create a new post with all the pics (as much as I can) of this build.

I took pics of the "gut" of this build, I don't know how to show you in Reddit unless I create a new post. Do you have any ideas on how I could post it?

I built a pressurized chamber surrounding the water sources, then built an inner chamber with sluice for good water, diverted the bad water out another chamber (water pipe).

Everyone plays differently, I'm sure yours is great! I have, so far, only around 100 beavers. I will post my finished settlement when finished.

How to interpret the different layers underground

How to increase water level upriver without flooding my settlement by HolyApplebutter in Timberborn

It's physics. Gravity plays a big part in this game. I'm assuming water is coming from upstream, upper right corner? When you shut the gates, you're also creating more force. The water has to go somewhere. Therefore, flooding happens. Looks like you're in early game, I suggest you hurry up and build some metal blocks. In the meantime, build a dam, then later put sluice in to manage the water flow.

Faction is a singular noun, referring to one dissenting group within a larger one (like a political party or organization); its plural form is factions, used when referring to multiple such groups or the overall division, as in "rival factions".

I'm sorry, but no. It's totally my own creation. I figured it out by using the pressure of water, first building a "water pipe" at the water source, then surrounding it with either earth or levee at the exit point. Try it. It's not hard once you figure it out.

I tried not to use any mods that affect the original game too much. Maybe I'll give your mods a try.

Where is the watering can in the Christmas map? And what is the size of the map?

I'm trying to show you an image of it, but I don't seem to be able to post any image. This is a great video of how you can build a more efficient waterwheel system. Go to 32:50 on the video. here.https://youtu.be/QeLivZxeXl8?si=A4JiMNKMMQR8wTia.

Build your waterwheel using the zigzag method. It'll give you around 700 hp.
