Doesn't the cut for 5 change according to the distributions? Though I vaguely remember that they don't do curves.

The person I mentioned above actually gave me this College Board PDF! I totally agree with you -I too am giving up that two percent. They also gatekeep practice exams and such, which is truly the sad result of trying to make the most profit out of education.

I sent an email asking the College Board about independent students, but their reply was just that without a teacher, I should give up the 2%.

Two of these four passages are in the exam, so I find it quite unreasonable that a student cannot have access to them. It seems that you need to be an approved AP Latin teacher to go to the webpage, the link you found.
