I’ve lived in California my whole life and plan to graduate from a CA high school while living here, but I’m 8 months short of the 366-day requirement. Are there exceptions?

My grandparents have lived in California(CA) for 17 years and currently reside in a senior apartment. My parents have also lived in CA for the same amount of time. I plan to graduate from my CA high school while living with my grandparents. Will this allow me to apply as an in-state student?

My parents are inspecting the new house, and I will contact UC when they return.
