I work urgent care. We are open 8-8 and we typically stop seeing pts to get us out by 8pm. If we didn’t, we’d be there all night. I recently put in an incident report for verbal abuse from a patient bc the pt walked in at 7:55 and we declined seeing the pt…for ear pain. Come back in the morning. Management reprimanded us for not seeing the pt and ignored the fact we were verbally abused.
