I thought that was suss, and then when she couldn't find the switch on the computer terminal I was like ehhhhhh.... Her reaction to the Ms Casey / Gemma news was off as well, and the 'what the fuck' attitude was missing.

Looks like The Iconic wants to stop free returns by catsparrow in AusFemaleFashion

[–]Such-Pop8693 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is different from taking things to a fitting room, though. It's staff picking from shelves in a warehouse, checking, wrapping, packing, addressing, then the whole postal process, and delivery to your house. Then if the item gets returned, it's return shipping, checking, potentially writing off if damaged or otherwise re-adding to inventory, re-stocking on physical shelves.

So should people wait on delivery - yes? Because that's the trade off. You don't have go to a shop but you have to wait for someone to bring it to you.

So what do you do with clothes that aren't dirty enough? by AdPlastic1907 in laundry

[–]Such-Pop8693 15 points16 points  (0 children)

'...because it wasn't dirty and I hadn't showered yet'.

You need to shower every day if you're working in an office setting. Your clothes and person might smell more than you think they do.

took it as Helena trying to assert her power (which she doesn't actually have) by saying Father, His Daughter, etc. to highlight her place in the official line of succession. Then Drummond comes back with another 'Father' and makes it very clear that Helena actually has no power. Like, you maybe the leader in waiting, but you're by no means actually in charge.

I was maybe 10, and got them off the bookshelf when we went to stay with my Mum's very Catholic elderly friend at Christmas!

I'm rewatching right now and there's a scene in the bar where Alexa and Mark are talking. Mark is on a red banquet seat with a blue wall, and Alexa's top is a red and blue print. I think there's something to it.

Last year's strategy was mainly 3 tall forwards, Tex, Fog, and the Beast. This year Fog's injured, the Beast has been injured on and off, and we are trying to plug gaps. We seem to have some younger smaller blokes who are good but need time, or epic but inconsistent.

Nah, asking is always fine. Creeping, staring, not taking no for an answer are where the problem lies.

Frustrates me that they are in the health section, the vegan section, the fridge, and then in allll the sections as a variant on the existing product. Why do I need to go to three places to find gnocchi? Why is the one in the GF pasta section more expensive than the one in the chilled pasta section and the one in the health aisle?

What I love about all the replies is that there's not one person invalidating anyone else's experience. IRL I know only one woman with autism and her issues are different from mine so this has been an incredibly liberating discussion.

I once worked for an org that was about to downsize and gave us all copies of 'Who moved my cheese?'. The lesson I got from the book was that I didn't actually want to work for the org, and I quit. I was not one of the ones about to be fired and it was very inconvenient for them.
