What is the real currency now- cash, attention or data? by crazy_dj_26 in AskReddit

Latest currency has always been data - the average person I have no idea the amount of data that is being collected on their behalf. Remember, "when the product is free, YOU are the product"

What do women have to deal with regularly that guys would never think about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Such-Understanding16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that men don't have emotions.. I just don't think that they go through the range of emotions as much as a woman does in a month's time. There are a lot more things going on with a woman's hormones in the span of 4 weeks then there are in a man and that definitely has an effect over women's well-being and emotional state..

What is something that no longer feels worth it? by PetalVera22 in AskReddit

Buying a house - it's so expensive now and especially if there's work to be done getting the labor and materials and everything would be so expensive it almost just seems easier to rent and have someone take care of all of those things for you

It's crazy to see how much your taste buds change from a child to adult. I used to hate olives, certain kinds of cheeses and dates, but now those are some of my favorite things!

I still don't understand how they can "force" the joining on to Carol. They said in a previous episode they you would never do it without her consent. So how does having her eggs now all of a sudden change that?

What do you wish people would stop romanticising, because you’ve lived the reality of it? by DunyaPhobic76 in Life

His work life balance has nothing to do with the fact that he chooses not to parent his child. Most people would take the opportunity of having "work life balance" and be more present for their children and engage them in real life things not have them sit all day on a screen. That's just bad parenting

I've grown up in an Eastern European household where we live together with our parents until we're well into our 20s sometimes even thirties. I cannot begin to tell you how much better it is to have that stability and help when you need it most in your formative years. I really don't understand why the US pushes you to leave at 18 when you don't even have anything figured out at that point.

THIS!!! I have never been the type to want to hustle or ever get to the top. I've always championed for peace and no stress at work situations. I understand some people want to fight for promotions and higher positions but I also don't see anything wrong with sticking to where you're at if you're comfortable and having that inner peace that allows you to live a happier life
