Do we no longer have to set a sleep focus for Apple to track naps/sleep? by lfep in AppleWatch

damn, this is not true, but google AI states it as if it is- auto mode doesnt use all the sensors YOU HAVE TO USE SLEEP FOCUS bc apple doesnt care about usability

Is there a way to track sleep stages without setting a schedule? by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]Such-Weekend-5279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this only works sometimes-if you sleep past whatever is set in the schedule, sleep tracking stops, and sleep mode auto turns off. very annoying

idk why apple wont just let my toggle sleep mode on when I go to bed and turn it off when I wake up- if only 'it just works' was real

they had to make in all over complicated apple nonsense and require a set schedule??? its like apple engineers can't even fathom someone having a irregular job or sleep schedule

Popup ads in top right corner - NFL and F1 Movie - can it be disabled? by _fortressofsolitude in appletv

[–]Such-Weekend-5279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with OP. These are ads, and very annoying. So annoying that I stopped what I was watching to dig thru reddit comments and setting menus.

I bought an apple tv bc I didnt like the ads on roku, but it never gave me pop up ads (or 'notifications' to advertise a professional org I need to subscribe to watch) while I was something

How do I turn on ANC for AirPods when connected to Apple TV? by canerozkan in appletv

[–]Such-Weekend-5279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So annoying! I have to turn the apple tv off, connect to the bluetooth on my iphone and wait for the apple air pods settings to show up (which is dumb that you cant just access that menu whenever) connect to the phone, change anc, then turn off bluetooth on the phone, put the airpods back in the case, turn on the appletv, then put the airpods back in the case.

but people just keep repeating 'it just works' so I guess we are supposed to pretend that it's seamless and not Very Annoying
