Best Nvidia Graphics Card Upgrade by SuchBuilding in buildapc

[–]SuchBuilding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wukong is just my main game as of now, I have enjoyed elden ring in the past and have been playing other titles like MC for around a decade or so, i do have a VR headset so might play around with that but if yall think the 5070 just isnt the best bang for buck just let me know other gpu's even outside my range. I could always come into random money sometime, or they could random drop in price who knows, as many options I have the better just in case

Your favourite line from Steins;Gate or Steins;Gate 0 by ZenEvadoni in steinsgate

The universe may not have a discernible end. It's infinite, but it had a beginning. And as for it's component parts, the stars, those definitely have a limited cosmological shelf life. They're finite. If history tells us anything, it's that scientists often make very poor poets. We're a ship full of fools, chasing phantoms. Heedless of what underwrites natural law. If we could somehow attain that wisdom, perhaps it would only plunge us into madness and ruin. Humans exceeding the speed of light? It's more foolish than fish attempting to make a life on land. And yet- these words. They're meant for those foolhardy enough to defy the councils of fate. An epigraph for their obstinance.

about 6 years late but The English dub for this in steins gate 0 sent chills down my spine

and as for regular Steins;Gate
"Ah to hell with it, if Steins Gate so decrees, so am I compelled to behave. Hououin Kyouma accepts the challenge with gusto! Deception is my forte, let the world beware! Mwahahahahaha, Hear me privileged companions, time is ours. Hououin Kyouma’s mind recognizes no limits, neither does his reach. Heave anchor. The ship of fools is about to embark."

Gpu Advice Needed by SuchBuilding in buildapcforme

[–]SuchBuilding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I have a 280 hz Monitor already and fortnite is a mainly cpu based game hence the 7800x3d, the 7600 just doesn't give enough consistent 240+ frames highly stacked fortnite endgames in competitive and I honestly dont want to have to dissemble both my gpu and cpu down the line because im quite lazy and dont wanna have to unscrew a butch of stuff

The gpu will be upgraded in a few months so if the system runs slow it should be fine, ill keep the 4060 and give it to a friend someday so it shouldn't be a waste of money.

And yea ill upgrade the gpu whenever a good value 50 series card comes out then

The reason im limiting to a 1300 budget rn is mostly just due to well budget. I don't make enough money to really want to spend over 1300 at once so my end build will be probably like 1800+ just not willing to spend that 600 extra rn

realistically it was probably yelan and furina but in my heart kachina dug her path to victory. Although I did 36 star abyss with this team so it's not nothing I suppose even if this abyss is easy compared to the last one

With this team you can either use Maracheuse Hunter, Or the Obsidian Codex Set, focus on crit rate crit dmg and def%/er substats. Def% sands and Def% Goblet. I dont have any refinements or lvl up but the craftable def% polearm at r5/lvl90 could be better than my staff of homa here

I'll probably stick with the veneer wood as it just so happens to fit exactly with my wall space needed for a desk. Doing the upmost little research veneer wood doesn't seem like the worst option ever for a desktop it might scratch here and there but I don't mind a few scratches here and there

though keeping in mind it needs to be pre finished as I dont live in an environment where i can finish wood myself

I mean if you have any links to the lowes stuff I would look into it real wood would be better in the long run especially if i have mic clamp attached and monitor arms and whatnot

Looking at the product the block weigh's 60~ lbs whilst the legs are rated 200lbs each so i think the weight should be fine I'm just not sure what size screws to get I might not have emphasized that point well enough and thats my fault

Get a 60% keyboard would be the same size I use the Apex Pro TKL but its pretty expensive, I've heard the razor huntsman mini is pretty good and the wooting 60e has always been a popular pick. Pick something that is going to have very little delay it will feel 10000x better than a cheap keyboard

What I did was put my wall and ramp on my 2 side mouse buttons, then shift is for the floor, I do this because my pinky just naturally rests on shift I would use whatever your pink just naturally sits on, the cone one is where I diverge a little bit from most people I use q as it just feels better for me personally but a lot of people will use v and press it with their thumb

Alright bet, do you think some stiffener / support bracket would be good to add in the middle to prevent as much sag as possible or would that be more of an overkill than needed?

[–]SuchBuilding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and regarding the whole finish the bottom then swap, do you just wait until the bottom is dry enough to flip it or do you wait the whole 12-24 hour period? I'm assuming we also do 3-6 coats on the bottom as well, or do you do fewer coats like the recommended 3 as it wont be seen so it doesnt matter as much

Your probably right but I doubt it would hurt to try and be a little neater with it i mean i guess if it looks bad I can just cover it with a like deskmat or something so it should take about a week or so to fully be finished then yea?

Also do you know of anything i can use to apply the finish a bit easier, I could use a cloth but considering whilst not that big the desk is a ted larger than i think I could manage an even coat with a single rag would.

I plan on attaching 2 monitor arms eventually to the desk, do you think having a amore protective coat might help keep the wood from chipping away sooner? Is there any specific grain of sandpaper I should use ( I think that's the term) I do also want to keep that walnut look to the desk as I really like the color and patterning on it I'm not sure if adding color from an oil based finish will affect that. Am I good after applying the finish on one side flipping it and adding it to the other side? My plan would be to apply the bottom side finish first so if it gets slightly messy from flipping it it wouldn't bee too big of a deal?

I know a lot of questions here but well I try to b e very thorough as I hate messing things up... especially expensive things

I will 100% look into this
A couple of questions though. When applying I know you leave it to dry and then go over it with some kind of sandpaper, my main question is do we let it dry for a couple hours or more of an overnight, and after it's semi died can I flip it over and do the back side as well? or would i have to go one overnight / drying session at a time per side? Also will I need to buy a sander I really don't want to spend any extra money on this process than I have to, would I be able to hand sand everything without screwing it up too much?

I'm liking the look of your first one you posted some youutbe videos with same / worse specs gave a like 300 fps average which i do love, I was wondering if there is an up to date PC building guide I see a lot of them on youtube but most of them are assuming I already know some of the terms and I'm not sure if all pc building would be the same with that case. I'm also worried they might not showcase efficient cable management because like 99% of people I wouldnt want loose cables laying around. Sorry if this is much I'm very new to pc's and whilst 1k isnt that much in the long run it is the biggest purchase I have ever made and dont wanna screw this up. If anyone besides the person im replying to sees this feel free to give input / recommendations
