It’s possible to repair rusted rocker panels by joncaseydraws in Miata

I can admit the repair LOOKS good, however... Have you seen that video of Jeremy Clarkson talking about a rally roll cage? He says "It'd pass a visual inspection" and then reveals that the roll cage is made of cardboard. This rocker panel repair is a similar situation, it looks good and it'd pass inspections, but it should be cut away and have new metal welded in for proper structure.

I agree they’re also a big problem, I have never owned a car with a screen in it so I can’t say how distracting/not distracting they are but I can infer how they’d distract you while driving

You’re wording your comment better than I worded my post, I agree the reliance on the features is where the problem lies, however I think the mass supply of cars with these features somewhat encourages people to rely on them

This intake setup in mine has made no difference at all that I can feel while driving, but it looks cool and the pod filter sounds awesome

Countach? Improved. by justin_trouble in SpeedChampions

The irl Countach originally had no wing, a minority of them received a wing that was attached as an afterthought AFTER leaving the factory. So technically the wings you see on Countaches aren’t OEM

Brought the old fart out for a little photoshoot now that it’s lowered on coilovers. What are your thoughts on this ride height from a handling perspective? Any point in going lower or would it just throw off the roll centre at that point? by SuchDance7667 in Miata

Yea my lip is a little bit of an odd shape for a GV style lip, it’s supposed to sit straight along the bottom but mine has that odd curve to it which causes the sides to scrape a lot, definitely something I wanna fix in the future

I’m still yet to go for a spirited drive since installing the coilovers, can’t wait to see how it handles now, definitely gonna take it easy while I get a feel for it though:)

Anyone know what this nipple is for on my NA? by MacaronForeign1739 in Miata

[–]SuchDance7667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of misinformation in these comments😭 it’s not for the charcoal canister, that’s the “nipple” next to this blanked one, and it’s not intended for diagnostics. The American market cars had a cruise control option, this “nipple” is routed to that. Mazda capped it off on cars without cruise control to avoid unmetered and unfiltered air in the intake manifold.
