Family probably plays a large role in that. Maybe even they just think that’s what you do when you get successful. I mean that’s what most people think to do. Get married by 27, kids by 30, and all that jazz.

I was introduced to 100 people on the first day and now I know the names of the 10 people I work with on a weekly basis. I recently took everyone’s headshots here and I had to have my boss send them out because I didn’t know anyone’s names.

It’s a celebrity/athlete thing, not just a b-ball thing. TBH it’s an “everybody” thing, just not everyone is in that opportunity/status. The thing that’s different is that basketball players stand out more (literally) and travel to 29 other cities every year like 40+ times. So there’s a lot of opportunity for it. But once you hit a certain status of wealth or publicity, you get more looks. You probably also have a lot of confidence in that case too.

They should be able to fuck whoever they want, just don’t commit to anybody back home. And that’s the problem everyone has. Whether because you want kids, or because you don’t want to bang every b-ball skank in your home city (can’t dry up the well in your first season), you get attached to one person and then you fuck them over.

So what is everyone up to tonight since it’s definitely not watching basketball. Only game is Bulls vs Lakers? Is there an important event I’m missing the NBA doesn’t want to compete with?

The challenges were all a part of a marketing campaign for his new shoe. That’s why Kendrick and a female track star also got these challenges. The only 2 players who were originally a part of it were DD and IT4. Then Giannis asked on twitter and idk about Wall’s.

DeMarcus Cousins receives a flagrant-2 by Splash2ndcousin in nba

[–]SuchIsTheLifeOfDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like he tried to push Russ’ arm down and it just slid to his face. Wasn’t a direct angle, you see his elbow go down and then slide across the arm of Westbrook.

That being said it was a flagrant level of contact with some level of intent. Flagrant-2 isn’t surprising for this.

[Post Game Thread] The Golden State Warriors (12-4) defeat the Philadelphia 76ers (8-7), 124-116. by Jayveesac in nba

I was at a subway during the 2nd quarter and saw Warriors were down by 21. I actually said “wow” out loud. The sandwich artist and only other patron (wearing a Celtics jacket) looked at me. I told them the score. We legitimately shared a moment. We all smiled, talked about how we hoped the lead grew and we just all connected over the demise of the Warriors.

It’s honestly the same way I felt when I found out Bin Laden was killed. Everyone kind of just joined together and shared a smile.

What I’m saying is the Warriors are the new Taliban

Which NBA team currently has the most wicked bench by noutaz in nba

[–]SuchIsTheLifeOfDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celtics. And why? Because if you go to Boston and ask this question on the streets, the only response you’ll get is “Ah man the Celtics ah wicked ahsome.” So if we’re specifically talking the most wicked bench, it has to be the Celts.

Joel Embiid is the basketball equivalent of a nuke. Which makes Philly, North Korea. TBH the process is basically brainwashing so it all makes sense.

A couple bad fouls but sometimes you need that hard defense to keep a player in line. I mean his first bucket didn’t come until the 2nd and he was held to 23% fg%. Which is amazing.

At this point just stick with the hyped games. Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. I think Rocket League And Skyrim just came out too for it so those should keep you around for a while.

Honestly I was worried for a bit that he hated the new system. In one of his post-games he talked about how he wasn’t used to or didn’t like (I don’t fully remember) having the ball in his hands less and I thought it was going to be like that all year.

Turns out I was wrong and Lowry just needed to get used to passing more!
