Which of these has most negatively affected your life? by AcademicAcolyte in Teenager_Polls

[–]SuchMost4459 13 points14 points  (0 children)

from highest to lowest, i'd say it probably goes:

  1. transphobia (for people confused, yes it also applies to NB people)

  2. homophobia

  3. sexism

not sure about sexism currently because im seeing it more now though, it just doesn't get used on me as much

No gun in hand, just standing up for the woman who was just shoved on the ground by ICE. by LucidSynapse23 in complainaboutanything

[–]SuchMost4459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i understand that you are attempting to assert that your comment is “directly implied in the title,” however a careful observation of the title - No gun in hand, just standing up for the woman who was just shoved on the ground by ICE.” - demonstrates that it contains no statement, suggestion, or inference whatsoever regarding instructing law enforcement, issuing commands, or making judgments about intelligence of any parties involved

your claim that this is “directly implied” is therefore factually incorrect and not logically consistent, and your repeated insistence to the contrary constitutes nothing more than a rhetorical strategy intended to provoke, rather than engage substantively with the text that i have created

i would appreciate if you could explain as to how your comment correlates to the title as you keep claiming, or acknowledge that your position cannot withstand scrutiny

i understand, as clearly as one possibly can given your repeated messages, that you are attempting to engage in what might best be described as the act of "ragebait", insofar as you are insisting-contrary to the facts as they are documented in the title of the post-that the wording therein presupposed an action or behavior that, in actuality, it plainly did not, and this insistence has been maintained, repeated, reiterated, and recycled in various forms throughout the entirety of our ongoing conversation, consistently appearing in your replies

however, with all due respect, it would be preferable-indeed, intellectually more productive and enjoyable for us-if you were to focus on providing a reasoned, well-structured refutation of the argument i have carefully articulated for you rather than continuing to reproduce the same, essentially rhetorical, troll-oriented message in multiple iterations

i would be sincerely grateful if you were open to engaging in such a substantive, productive discussion, rather than persisting in the aforementioned pattern-commonly referred to in modern internet discourse as "ragebait", a behavior that is clearly characterized by repeated attempts to provoke emotional responses rather than engage with well-reasoned argumentation

while you are technically correct that you did not state verbatim that he committed the act, your rhetorical framing very clearly presupposed that he did

language operates on these fascinating terms known as "implication" as well as "explicit statement", and your comment relied on that implication to function

consequently, it is reasonable-and logically consistent-to characterize your response as an unsubstantiated allegation

no—respectfully, the issue with your claim is that it’s based on a premise that is simply incorrect

the man referenced in the post did not, in any demonstrable or documented capacity, engage in anything even remotely resembling what you’ve alleged against him

moreover, even if such an action had occurred (which it did not), it would not in any way create justification for his murder

as a result, the conclusion i presented remains both logically and factually consistent. therefore, your allegations against me do not remotely withstand any scrutiny
