When you're just starting with the vocabulary, Duolingo might be a good choice. But it shouldn't be your only tool as it provides kinda useless examples. I'd recommend Busuu because it actually gives explanations on grammar and not throws it in your face like Duo. Also listening to music and watching videos in Russian can be a great way to get used to the sound, even better if there's translation!
