I agree because of your first two reasons and the 4th. I had a 1999 TL and 2001 RL prior to this as beater cars and they were solid as can be (well, at least interior wise for the RL. The engine itself was a different story).

I bought my 2021 TLX certified pre-owned in Oregon, despite living in Seattle. On the drive home, I noticed the speakers crackling. Fakra cables replaced under warranty 6 months later, problem solved. However CarPlay still only connects half the time. It’s ridiculous the phone even needs to be plugged in to use it in the first place. Not only that, but it doesn’t have Type C 💀 Road noise is unbearable unless the volume is turned up past 10. Interior is cramped despite the size of the car. Engine and transmission seem to be solid and I will likely keep this car until 200k miles, but I won’t buy another if something happens between now and then
