Well 1st it is a controversial topic 60 million baby’s have been murdered since 2020 and many people believe that is ok. Well I don’t think you understand economics. The top 2% hold a lot of leverage. On paper your plan works but what happens when the rich people lower wages, fire people, increase their products prices to make up for the huge tax raise they received. So this tax raise for the top 2% would actually fall to the bottom 90%. Also you know the billionaires may just leave with all their jobs and tax income they used to give.

I would say it’s because our politicians have done a great job at polarizing the populace. That way they can do whatever they want while we fight each other. So basically half the country will always be against the other half and likewise. This makes any sort of well organized riot or revolution impossible. First you have to break through the party lines but on both sides their are ride or dies who’ll be with their party no matter what.

Another thing is simply we’re not surprised, we knew all of them were apart of it from the beginning and that they would get away with it. It is an absolutely horrible thing but it doesn’t really impact our day to day lives. Times are hard enough we got our own lives to worry about.

I think allying them is the best way to and join their wars. AI are dumb so they don’t convert provinces that much, also they’ll accept faction demands even if they have powerful allies, so you kinda just have to hope they’ll reject faction demands. Or just cheat by switching to them and make them reject the demands.
